Cessna Airplane Lands Safely Inside Honda Showroom

FBO Teams With Car Dealer In MA That Purchased The Airplane

A car dealer in Plymouth, MA is using a Cessna 150 and a chance to fly a Redbird sim as a way to entice customers into its showroom, and the FBO with which the car dealer partnered may get some new students out of the deal as well.

The dealership … AutoFair Honda … teamed with Pilgrim Aviation to fly a Cessna 150 to Plymouth, take it apart and reassemble the airplane inside the showroom. It plane will be on display for the month of May, before it is taken apart, shipped back to the airport, and put back together to resume flying.

AutoFair Honda manager Mike Antosca called on Pilgrim Aviation to engineer the installation of the flyable Cessna 150 after they purchased the plane in Peoria, Illinois. The Cessna was flown 11 hours to Plymouth.

And while people cannot test fly the plane like they test drive a car, this month anyone who test drives a new 2014 Honda will win a free flight on the exciting Pilgrim Aviation's Redbird Flight Simulator. According to Pilgrim Aviation, the 'flying experience' on the simulator is as close to the real experience of flying a plane as possible since the Redbird Flight Simulator employs the latest technology available. Test pilots will be able to operate under the instruction of a Pilgrim Aviation expert and receive initial training prior to their time on the simulator.

Pilgrim calls the experience of test flying the Redbird Flight Simulator unforgettable.
