Rod Machado eCourses About To Be Upgraded

Downloads Will be Temporarily Suspended on March 23

Keeping up with the whims of online Gods can be tough, as both Rod Machado and those of us at ANN know all too well.

Rod tells us that the company that supports the Articulate Mobile Player App (used to download his eCourses for off-line viewing) will remove this App from the Apple and Google stores on March 23.

The Articulate company will then only support online courses due to Adobe's unfortunate and needless decision to abandon its support of Flash (software that allowed downloads to tablet devices). We at ANN are familiar with the problem as we're slowly converting from Flash use to alternatives, as well... and believe you me, the process is no fun at all and is going to cost more than a few pennies which could have been better spent elsewhere.

But... don't panic... Rod's aviation goodness will still be available for download in the not-too-distant future. He has an App in development that allows downloading of eCourse videos for offline viewing and he estimates availability by late April.

In the meantime, he explains that the frequently-updated eCourses are ALWAYS AVAILABLE ONLINE via the online account window at www.rodmachado.com.

For the moment, all eCourses downloaded prior to March 23 should continue to play on tablet devices until Apple and Google remove Flash from their operating systems.
