ForeFlight Adds 3D Review And More in Its Latest Release

Follow Planned And Recorded Flights In An Interactive 3D View

The newest addition to ForeFlight’s suite of 3D capabilities lets users follow the path of a planned or recorded flight with high-resolution terrain and aerial imagery. Preview planned flights from the Maps or Flights views, and replay past flights from Track Logs or Logbook entries with realistic pitch and bank from recorded AHRS data. Pan and zoom within 3D Review to get a full 360° view of the route environment.

Included in ForeFlight’s Performance Plus subscription plan, 3D Review joins other advanced features like Airport 3D, Takeoff & Landing Performance, safety-enhancing fuel and weight planning, and Trip Assistant with automatic fuel stop suggestions.

From now through the end of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh on July 28, purchase Performance Plus on our website using promo code 3DREVIEW to get 15 months for the price of 12.

ForeFlight 11.6 is available now on the App Store, and also includes Map Annotations for easy note-taking on the fly, more efficient checklist workflows using Checklist Speak, Logbook Instructor Tools allowing flight instructors to send endorsements remotely, and more.
