Red Bull Air Racer Performs In Extra Monoplane
With the Red Bull racing season closed out, and no racing
planned for next year, some of the pilots who flew the Red Bull
circuit are getting ready to fly airshows around the country.
Mike Goulian says he has a couple of dates on the calendar on
the East Coast yet in August ... the Westfield International
Airshow on the 21st and the Boston/Portsmouth Airshow August
28th.
"The MGAS Relocation Pilot, David Kicklighter delivered
our EXTRA from Florida this afternoon just in time for the
Westfield Air Show this weekend," Goulian wrote on his blog
Tuesday. "I got a practice flight in just before dark on Tuesday
and and will do two more on Wednesday prior to heading out to
Westfield in the afternoon.
"HUGE thanks to Kramer Upchurch and Southeast Aero for
completing the repair to our wing in record time. Kramer is a great
friend to our team and he came through for us. The repairs were
extensive and their gang worked long hours to enable us to fly this
weekend. Big shout out boys!"
