USUA Appoints Dale Hooper As New Exec VP

Hooper Takes On Job Left Open By the Passing of Rich Pendergist

The United States Ultralight Association has appointed Dale Hooper to the position of Executive Vice President, effective November 1, 2003. In that position, he is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Association. Since he has worked for USUA for 14 years Dale is obviously familiar with the details of its administration and daily operations. Most people who have called USUA are familiar with Dale's greeting when he answers the telephone: "USUA, Dale speaking."

USUA notes that, "We strongly believe that he will meet the challenges of this position with the same ability and confidence he has always shown."

Dale (USUA #A1953) originally joined the USUA Staff in July 1992.

As Executive Vice President, Dale is responsible for the day to day operation of the Association. A small portion of his other duties include: membership and registration processing, computer systems and database management, and graphic design for website and brochures. Dale has two children (Collin, and Hannah) at home and two children (Andy, and Adam) who think they still live there as well. Prior to joining the USUA team, Dale was a professional musician. He enjoys trikes and powered paragliding.
