"Airspace Modernization Straight Talk" Tackles the Spectrum of Next-Gen Systems
Duncan Aviation has released an updated book in their Straight Talk series, addressing the changes surrounding the FAA's Airspace Modernization initiatives.
The book, Airspace Modernization Straight Talk, covers mandates and advances in the United States and around the world, sharing the operational requirements and equipment necessary to take advantage of new technology. Duncan's position allows them to keep an eye on the changing face of airspace and condense down the spectrum of NextGen information to the simple "straight talk", "providing a simple explanation of the many systems, standards, and policies and procedures that will ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations through air-transportation modernization."
The information is helpful for those interested in expanding their operational footprint while availing themselves of the most up-to-date capabilities of the air traffic control system. Duncan aims to simplify and streamline the information gathering process for aircraft owners and operators, saving them the hassle of researching a variety of disparate sources and systems prior to flight, equipment purchase, or installation. The book's release comes about as the result of Duncan's in-house education for its avionics and sales professionals, proving itself useful enough to grant a widespread release.
“We believe our efforts to condense this information addresses many concerns regarding the airspace modernization of the air transportation system,” said senior avionics sales representative Dennis Kruse. “The overview we provide explains the many systems, standards, and policies and procedures that will provide owner/operators greater efficiency and safety in airspace the world over.”
