Fatal Accidents In Texas, Hawaii And Delaware Attributed To Loss Of One Engine

Possible Solution To Be Presented At NBAA-BACE

Innovative Solutions & Support has announced that at the NBAA National Convention on October 21, Tom Grunbeck, Autothrottle Program Director will be joined by Chairman and CEO, Geoffrey Hedrick to provide an overview of the risks of the loss of a single engine in a twin engine aircraft and how Innovative Solution & Support’s patented new technology – ThrustSense – can mitigate the potentially catastrophic consequences of an engine out.

“Accidents over the past several months are the latest in the catastrophic consequences of losing use of an engine in a multi-engine aircraft,” observed Mr. Hedrick. “Our patented ThrustSense technology was designed to mitigate this condition. With the loss of control in an engine-out condition, even some of the most experienced pilots may be unable to react accurately enough to restore and maintain control.

With its proprietary technology, ThrustSense identifies the engine out condition, even during the challenging periods of take-off, climb and landing, and responds by correctly adjusting power in the remaining engine to facilitate the uninterrupted control of the aircraft. By mitigating this dangerous condition, ThrustSense can provide pilots an added layer of protection against the risk of an engine out.”

Innovative Solutions & Support will be showcasing its patented and certified ThrustSense technology at NBAA in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 21 – 24, 2019.
