AOPA Expo '04: Mooney Announces Ovation For Under $300K

Financing from Mooney Capital will provide $1,499 monthly payments

Mooney Airplane Company has unveiled a special price of $299,000 and extremely affordable financing on the standard Mooney Ovation. David J. Copeland, vice president of sales & marketing announced the 2005 base Ovation price during the opening day of the AOPA Convention.

“One of our primary goals is to provide our customers with the best value at an affordable price. That approach has driven our introduction of new, higher end offerings like the Ovation2 GX and Bravo GX, but it’s also the motivation behind our decision to
offer a version of the highest performance single-engine aircraft in the GA marketplace for under $300,000,” said Copeland.

“Mooney Capital will also offer outstanding financing for a limited time, designed to encourage potential buyers to take advantage of this extraordinary purchase price.

It’s a finance plan that is unequalled in the industry, with payments of only $1,499 per month for a standard Ovation. That’s a powerful incentive to join the Mooney family and it’s the most affordable among the purchase and financing options we provide to buyers of the full range of Mooney products, from the Ovation to the Bravo GX,” added Steve Smestad, president of Mooney Capital.

The Ovation is powered by the efficient and reliable TCM IO-550-G engine, with 280hp MCP. New in the last year is a standard Garmin avionics stack including the award winning GNS 430 GPS/NAV/COM. Leather seating is also standard.
