Brings Extensive Industry Experience To FBO Management
Hawker Beechcraft Services announced
Monday the appointment of Fred Zimbelman as general manager of the
Hawker Beechcraft Services (HBS) Wichita facility. He will be
responsible for overseeing aircraft maintenance, avionics and
modifications as well as FBO operations at the Wichita
facility.
A graduate of Rockford College in Rockford, IL, Zimbelman
reportedly has a diverse background in the areas of repair station
management, customer administration and service. His work history
began with 16 years at Sundstrand Aviation Operations, holding
positions from F-16 repair program manager, group supervisor for
Overhaul and Repair, and senior sales and marketing representative
for Repair Services. He also worked for Nordam Group as director of
customer administration and later as director of Customer
Service.
HBS personnel tell ANN most recently, Zimbelman served as
president for Soundair Repair Group LLC and Soundair Design and
Development Group LLC in Woodinville, WA. During his tenure with
these organizations, Zimbelman implemented many new programs
focused on improving customer support and services.
