Aero-News: Quote of the Day
ANN's Quote of the Day usually derives from current news,
though we reserve the right to pick quotes out of history that have
a bearing on the day's events and issues.
Sometimes, you'll find them timely and in keeping with the
content of the day's news... and sometimes, they'll just be
thought-provoking.
Reader suggestions and comments are welcome... and if
particularly intriguing, timely, or poignant, may themselves
become future Quotes of the Day.
Let us hear from you, folks!
Aero-News Quote of the Day
"Obviously we are excited about returning to
China... We've had aircraft operating successfully there for a
number of years now, and with the rapid growth of their aviation
infrastructure we are well positioned to take advantage of that
experience and expand our fleet there. Civil certification of the
480B is currently underway, and once that hurdle is cleared we
expect to see even more interest from China. This also marks an
expansion of the 480B in the agricultural spraying market. It's a
good fit for the aircraft, and even though the Isolair system has
been certified for less than a year, already a number have been
sold."
Source: Enstrom's Director of Sales and
Marketing, Tracy Biegler, commenting on Enstrom's signing of
a Purchase Agreement with Wuhan Helicopters in China for a
480B turbine helicopter. The aircraft will be equipped with a
Garmin GPS system, an Isolair agricultural spraying system, and a
Safe Flight Powerline Detection System.
