Airplane To Be On Display At Avalon 2015 Exhibition, Asia Aviator's Gathering
The TBM 900 will be on display in Melbourne, Australia for the first time later this month, marking the airplane's formal introduction in Australia.
The airplane will be the centerpiece of Daher-Socata's display at Avalon 2015, the Australian International Aerospace & Defense Exposition, in Geelong, near Melbourne, from February 24 until March 1. Daher-Socata will highlight the aircraft’s performance for operations across Australia’s open spaces, along with the support provided by the company’s network of service centers on the continent.
In addition to demonstrating the TBM 900 for private and corporate owners/operators, Daher-Socata will use the Australian International Aerospace & Defense Exposition to underscore the aircraft’s utility as a cost-effective multimission platform for both security and governmental users.
A TBM 900 also will be present in Thailand at the 2015 Asia Aviator’s Gathering, hosted by Wings Over Asia, and held at the Rancho Charnvee Golf Resort near Bangkok during the first week of March. “We are continuing the momentum of our new TBM turboprop’s successful introduction in 2014, and we’re confident this latest demonstration will convince more Asian-Pacific customers of the TBM 900’s attributes,” said Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice President of the Daher-Socata Airplane Division. “It is interesting to note that we have sold aircraft to two Singapore-based customers who purchased them without even seeing the TBM 900 in person.”
