Orlando LSA Flight School Gets A PiperSport LTD

First Landings Aviation Adds Low Wing Aircraft To Its Training Options

The central Florida sport pilot flight school First Landings Aviation, which was founded by two young entrepreneurs in May of 2009, has taken delivery of a 2010 PiperSport LTD. The addition of the PiperSport allows the school to offer both low-wing training in the PiperSport and high-wing training in a Remos G3 600.  Both the Remos and PiperSport are equipped with full glass cockpit displays, autopilot, and parachute recovery systems.

"We chose to add the PiperSport to our fleet because of the unique appeal of the airplane.  Not only is the airplane a great performer, but it is equipped with top-of-the-line safety features and was built with training in mind." says Chris Esposito, chief pilot and co-owner of First Landings Aviation. "A lot of students and pilots are more comfortable in a metal airplane, and they appreciate the Piper name because they know it is synonymous with quality and performance."

First Landings Aviation opened in May of 2009 as central Florida's first dedicated Sport Pilot flight school.  Since opening last summer, the school's Remos has been flown for more than 850 hours of flight training, with instructors training students from as far away as Germany, Holland, Singapore, and Italy.  The PiperSport will allow First Landings to continue its growth while spreading the fun inherent in Sport Pilot flying.
