ANN's 'Who's Who' At Sun 'n Fun 2021: Anthony Liberatore

Introducing Staff, Stringers, Videographers, And People Who Make It All Work

Anyone who's ever been to events like Oshkosh and Sun 'n Fun know that there are hundreds of events and activities as well as tens of thousands of people that descend (some quite literally) on these locations each year. While we have a very hard-working and dedicated staff, ANN could not provide you with the extensive information we do without the help of some equally ... some might say more ... dedicated volunteers who give a week of their time to make sure you have the best possible coverage of the show. As we lead up to this year's edition of the Sun 'n Fun Digital Daily, we'll be introducing you to a number of the people that make all of that possible.

Anthony Liberatore: Aviation Writer

Anthony Liberatore returns as a Stringer for his 7th year with ANN. He began his aviation writing by volunteering as the Newsletter Editor for his EAA Chapter (EAA 113) in Michigan and continued writing by authoring articles for Contact! Magazine, EAA's On-Line Experimeter, as well as a Stringer for ANN.

Over the last few years Anthony has been learning Solidworks via EAA's Maker-Space edition of the Software. This journey has included modeling two air-inlets that were printed for a homebuilt, as well as volunteering with the Kittyhawk Academy of Brighton MI as a teaching assistant for youth interested in engineering, aviation technology, and learning Solidworks.

Anthony resides in Canton Michigan with his wife Robin and his two daughters Reagan and Sarah. Robin is a Supervisor with the Digital Innovation Team at Ford, Reagan will attend Savannah College of Arts and Design this fall, and Sarah will be in her Senior Year at Phillips Exeter Academy. Anthony has been a full time dad for 16 years, with prior careers in CAD design within the Power, Gas Turbine, and Consumer / Industrial arenas as well as a stint in the Financial Planning arena.
