Airborne 04.10.20: Massive Avionics Preview, AvPhotography, Top Gun Delay

Also: American Airlines Apologizes, AD For A220 Engines, NC Flight School CEO Threatens, Drone Ops In Europe

Today’s the day! After the crushing disappointment of missing the 2020 AEA Convention and Tradeshow and all the exciting live coverage we’ve been presenting for over a dozen years, we get to make up for the loss of this great program... at least a little bit.

One of the hits of our Annual AEA LIVE Coverage was the opening day's presentation of new avionics 'reveals' showcased in rapid-fire succession, with all the cool new things that were to come for the next year... it was proof positive that the avionics industry was one of the most innovative on Planet Earth. One of the aviation world’s best photographers wants to tell you his secrets... well... maybe a few of them. You can join pro photographer's Steve Chesler and Sigma Pro Jim Koepnick on an amazing journey of flight as they talk about their tips and techniques for getting great aviation photography. During their Webinar on the Zoom platform, participants will learn about photographing ground displays, ground to air photography and air to air photography. The opening of the long-awaited "Top Gun: Maverick" has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The virus has forced the closing of movie theaters across the country, and the Top Gun sequel is one of several movies that will not be released this summer. Tom Cruise, who is reprising his role as Maverick in the movie, expressed the disappointment that is being felt by many who have been waiting decades for the sequel. ""I know many of you have waited 34 years. Unfortunately, it will be a little longer. Top Gun: Maverick will fly this December. Stay safe, everyone." he said on Twitter. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!

Airborne 04.10.20 is chock full of info in this Daily News Episode, Friday, April 10th, 2020... Presented by Aero-TV veteran videographer and Airborne Host Sophie Hurlock.
