Here's an interesting bit of aircraft inventory... Courtesy Aircraft has ONE (and only one) PC-9 turboprop fopr sale. This is the first time that a civilian pilot might have the opportunity to own and operate the aircraft that evolved into the trainer selected from the "JPATS" competition to be the new trainer currently utilized today in the US Air Force and US Navy. Over 250 PC-9 aircraft are currently in service in Air Forces in 15 countries world wide.

Manufactured with legendary Swiss quality and precision, the Pilatus PC-9 offers the civilian pilot the military's leading edge technology in avionics and equipment. The world renowned dependability of a Pratt & Whitney PT-6, 950 hp engine and a glass cockpit featuring Dual Bendix/King EFIS CRT displays on each panel make this a truly state-of-the-art aircraft.

Designed to realistically simulate jet flight using a turboprop engine, the Pilatus PC-9 has a climb rate of 4,100 FT/MIN (SL) and maximum level cruise speed of 271 KTAS (SL).
