PrivatAir Opens to Public

Robin Leach, Eat Your Heart Out

In a move designed to encourage the curious to investigate the advantages of charter service, PrivatAir is opening its doors to us regular folk on September 25, at its Palm Beach (FL) International Airport facilities.

During this unique event, visitors will be able to view and tour a selection of aircraft from the company's exclusive jet fleet. Greg Thomas, PrivatAir CEO, will be on hand, along with the crews of the aircraft on display.

"We're delighted to welcome guests to our facility and on board our planes to offer them a sample of the legendary PrivatAir hospitality," said Thomas. "PrivatAir is looking forward to this event to share our unparalleled aviation machines, which are otherwise not available for public viewing."

See how the rich, private, and hurried get there...

The event is designed to raise awareness within the South Florida and select national luxury markets of PrivatAir as an international, full-service business aviation company dedicated to service excellence. It will feature a range of executive aircraft, including PrivatAir's luxuriously appointed Boeing 757-200, configured to carry just 49 passengers in unashamed luxury. Also on display will be a number of other prestige business jets, such as Gulfstreams, Challengers and Citations. All of the aircraft on display are available for sale and/or charter.

There will be two receptions: 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. for industry personnel and the general public; there's another showing for special people, including PrivatAir's clients, press, and other select invitees.

Vice Presidents of PrivatAir's four product lines, Private Travel (Charter), Corporate Shuttle, Ground Services and Aircraft Sales & Management, will also be present at this event to introduce their departments and to answer guests' questions.

Quite an operation:

PrivatAir is based in Geneva, Switzerland, and operates a Fixed Base Operation at Le Bourget Airport in Paris, France, and has additional bases in Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Munich (Germany) and across the USA. The Group's services include Private Travel (aircraft charter) for VIPs and executives, Corporate Shuttle, Ground Services and Aircraft Sales & Management.

PrivatAir manages a fleet of more than 50 aircraft ranging from a Beech King Air to an executive Boeing 757 (lower two photos), operating out of bases in Europe and the USA. The Group is the only commercial operator of three of the new generation of Boeing ultra-long range executive aircraft, the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ -- upper two photos) and also operates four Airbus A319 aircraft. PrivatAir also operates two 126-seat Airbus A319 aircraft on behalf of Airbus in order to transport personnel between the Airbus Group's Toulouse (France), Hamburg (Germany) and Filton (UK) production sites.
