Aero-TV: Humongous R/C Aerobats - Aerobeez' Monster Aerobatic Models

Fly Aerobatics With Your Feet Firmly Planted On Terra-Firma...

While at AMA Expo 2016, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, delved into the sport of aerobatic modeling. As an aerobatic pilot himself, Jim recognized that model aircraft can do much more than a full scale aircraft, and he stopped by the Aerobeez exhibit to bring us an update on these amazing specialized model aircraft.

Jim talked with Ray Jin, the co-owner of Aerobeez. When asked how long it takes to develop one of these aerobatic model aircraft, Jin said it can take between a year and two years to get one ready for the market. He goes on to talk about the people that help develop these extraordinary aircraft, and you’ll get some background as to how they are built.

The Aerobeez aircraft are factory built and come ready to fly (RTF). If you think flying one of these high-performance aerobatic models is challenging, you’re right. That’s why the company also produces smaller and lower price models for learning how it’s done before stepping up to the high-end aerobatic aircraft.

If you haven’t seen these types of aircraft in operation before, this video is filled with scenes of aircraft doing things that seem impossible. It’s fun to watch!
