Branson Airport Hires FBO And Airline Services Manager

Privately-Financed Airport To Open In Spring 2009

The Branson Airport, the first privately financed and operated commercial service airport in the US, announced this week the hiring of Sharon Morris as the airport's FBO (Fixed Base Operation) and Airline Services Manager.

Morris comes to Branson after having served as Operations Manager at Signature Flight Support in Boston, MA for the past 7 years. As FBO and Airline Services Manager of the Branson Airport, she will be responsible for managing fueling services, airline ticketing, airline ground handling, aircraft and airline maintenance and all hangar facilities.

"We're very excited to welcome Sharon to the Branson Airport team," said Jeff Bourk, Executive Director, Branson Airport. "Sharon's extensive aviation and airport experience, and her passion for this industry, make her a perfect fit for us."

Morris has more than 20 years of industry experience, including supervisory positions for Northwest Airlink Airlines in Memphis, TN and Valujet Airlines in Raleigh, NC and Boston, MA.

"I am really looking forward to becoming a part of the Branson community and enjoying everything it has to offer," said Morris. "This is such a great opportunity to be a part of something new which will enhance the travel experience of every customer who uses this remarkable facility."

The FBO will be owned and operated by Branson Airport, LLC, which is building and developing Branson Airport. Slated to open May 11, 2009, Branson Airport is the first privately financed and operated commercial service airport in the United States.
