Embraer Delivers 150th Legacy 600 Bizjet

DC Aviation Receives Milestone Aircraft

Embraer delivered the 150th Legacy 600 jet it has produced to the German operator DC Aviation. This is the seventh Legacy 600 in the customer’s fleet, and it will be used for charter flights in the Europe and Middle East regions.

"Since our first Legacy 600 entered service, in 2006, we have seen a steadily increasing demand for this aircraft type," said Stefan Buschle, Managing Director of DC Aviation. "Its good cost-benefit ratio and huge cabin convinced us, as operators, as well as many of our customers, and meets the demands of our sophisticated clientele on medium and long-haul routes. It's not surprising that Embraer's 150th Legacy 600 is the seventh in our fleet."

"It's an honor to deliver the 150th Legacy 600 to DC Aviation," said Luís Carlos Affonso, Embraer Executive Vice President, Executive Jets. "This is a significant milestone, after having delivered the 100th just over a year ago. In less than six years of operation, the Legacy 600 has achieved a 15% market share in the super midsize category."

Operating in the European market since 2002, the Legacy 600 has been met with great acceptance for its comfort and three spacious cabin zones and walk-in baggage compartment. Additionally, the aircraft is the only super-midsize jet certified to fly into and out of the London City and Cannes-Mandelieu airports.

DC Aviation with headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, is rated among Europe's leading business jet operators. Formed by the merger of the former DaimlerChrysler Aviation and the Cirrus Group, in May 2007, the company is headed by its three Managing Directors -- Dieter Heinen (the Chairman), Marc Ambrosius, and Stefan Buschle -- and focuses on business jet operation, charters, and maintenance.
