Bombardier, PSA Airlines Extend Heavy Maintenance Agreement

Covers The Airline's Fleet Of CRJ Series Aircraft

Bombardier Commercial Aircraft and PSA Airlines of Vandalia, Ohio have signed a heavy maintenance agreement that extends the current agreement between the parties by two years. Under this contract, all heavy maintenance tasks for the airline’s fleet of CRJ200, CRJ700 and CRJ900 aircraft will be performed at Bombardier’s West Virginia Air Center.

Earlier today, PSA Airlines welcomed its 100th CRJ Series aircraft -- a CRJ900 regional jet, delivered during a ceremony held at the Bombardier facility in Mirabel, Québec. The aircraft will be operated for American Airlines, under the American Eagle regional brand.

“Bombardier’s CRJ Series aircraft are an essential part of PSA Airlines’ growth, as we become one of the largest regional service providers for American Airlines,” said Kevin Reinhalter, Vice President Maintenance and Engineering, PSA Airlines. “As the manufacturer of the aircraft, Bombardier’s expertise in maintaining our all-CRJ regional jet fleet helps us deliver on our commitment to transport satisfied customers to their destinations safely and on time.”

“Bombardier prides itself in offering world-class maintenance services and has long been the service provider of choice for many airlines,” said Todd Young, Vice President and General Manager, Customer Services, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. “We are pleased to have PSA Airlines’ vote of confidence as it extends its maintenance agreement for another two years.”
