NTSB Takes Second Look At Ramp Worker's Death

Investigators Cite "New Information" In Case

The NTSB says it has new information that warrants another look into the death of a Northwest Airlines ramp worker killed at Norfolk International Airport more than two years ago.

As ANN reported earlier this month, the NTSB reported 13-year ramp veteran Denis Bogucki died when she was crushed between the tug she was driving and the nose of a DC-9. The NTSB said Bogucki used the wrong type of tow bar to push the aircraft back from the gate September 12th, 2003.

The NTSB won't comment on reopening the investigation. But its web site says the original findings may be revised due to "new information."
