Cessna Offers New Panel Refurbishment Service

Cessna announces a new factory authorized program that allows Cessna propeller aircraft customers and owners of many non-Cessna aircraft to have their illuminated panels repaired and refurbished at a reduced cost. Significant reductions in down time, and savings up to 75% could be realized when aircraft owners choose to refurbish their panel, rather than replace it with a new one.

"Many of our customers are flying aircraft that are 20-plus years old. These airplanes are well maintained, however sometimes the lettering on the avionics panel wears off or the panels become cracked and no longer illuminates. With this new program, owners of most make and model aircraft will be able to relight and refurbish their panels at a significant savings," said Peter Wilkinson, Director of Cessna Parts Distribution.

Aircraft owners wanting to take advantage of Cessna's new service are able to do so by contacting their local factory-authorized Cessna Service Station. A list of factory-authorized facilities can be found on the Internet at www.customer.cessna.com/se/locator.chtml.
