Signature Aviation Opens Revamped Facility in Anchorage

Refurbished Location Aimed at Transpacific Bizjet Operations

Signature Aviation has announced the grand opening of its newly renovated facility at Ted Stevens Anchorage
International Airport, now sporting an expansive ramp and passenger terminal for trans-pacific flights.

The location now sports 13,900 square feet of terminal space, with more than 90,000 square feet of ramp to allow plenty of space for those passing through. Signature is planning ahead, with features aimed at supporting long-distance operations going forward. The firm installed an on-site US Customs and Border Protection station within the FBO (currently unmanned but opening "soon") to allow for inbound traffic to clear customs rapidly before heading on to other US destinations. The ramps are wide and sized for transport category aircraft, with the usual FBO amenities, a snack bar, and conference rooms spread throughout the terminal.

“Signature’s Kulis terminal for private aviation is helping restate the importance of Anchorage as both a global crossroads and a destination for private aviation,” shared Geoff Heck, Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Signature Aviation. “There is simply no better, faster, or more reliable tech stop option available to operators that frequently find themselves traveling between Asia and the United States than that provided by Signature Anchorage.”
