Angel MedFlight Secures Nevada Air Ambulance Transportation License

Brings Company Into Compliance With All State Regulations For Medical Transport

The state of Nevada has fully licensed Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance to transport patients in or out of the state (Official State Permit No. 16477).

Nevada State Law - NRS 450B.830 was amended on October 1, 2013 by Nevada State Senate Bill 285, prohibiting emergency air ambulance providers from transporting patients to or from the State of Nevada without first complying with the state's individual medical, safety and transportation requirements. The documented designation of SB 285 relates to licensing requirements for emergency services only, nonetheless, Angel MedFlight decided to further its commitment to servicing those in need of emergent and non-emergent fixed-wing air ambulance services and obtained the State of Nevada License, complying with all of the standards and conditions presented.

"Although this license was not actually required as it relates to our specific services as a worldwide, fixed-wing operator, we committed to obtaining the license in order to constantly strive to go above and beyond for our patients and clinical partners," commented Jeremy T. Freer, CEO and President of Angel MedFlight.

Established seven years ago, Angel MedFlight Air Ambulance provides fixed-wing air medical transport.
