Pentagon Considers Paying Ukraine’s Starlink Bill

Since March 2022, SpaceX has provided Starlink services to Ukraine’s government and people free of charge. On 3 October 2022, SpaceX founder Elon Musk indicated that his company could no longer provide Starlink internet services to Ukraine gratis. The Pentagon—according to two U.S. officials involved in deliberations germane to the Russo-Ukranian conflict—is considering picking up Ukraine’s Starlink tab by delving into the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, a fund devised to provide long-term support to the Ukrainian military by financing contracts with American firms for weapons and battlefield equipment.

New Remote PIC mission Capability to be used for up to 100 Miles of Survey Per Day

Soaring Eagle Technologies has received their latest long-distance waiver from the FAA, allowing them to expand their range of infrastructure inspection using uncrewed aircraft from longer distances than ever before. They have one of the first BVLOS FAA waivers to fly small Uncrewed Aerial System (sUAS) inspection missions under a set of specific operational guidelines, provided those flights took place within a given geographic region.

Long time Airbus customer International Airlines Group (IAG) has confirmed their order for 37 additional A320neos after obtaining shareholder approval. The latest order follows earlier agreements in 2022 signed for 22 aircraft from the A320neo family. Throughout the year, their total purchases included 17 A320neo  and 5 A321neo aircraft, bringing the total IAG haul to 59 single-aisle aircraft.

Airplane Climbed To About 5,500 Ft Mean Sea Level (MSL) And Entered A Descending Right Turn With Increasing Speed

On October 20, 2022, about 1430 central daylight time, a Vans RV-12 airplane, N86GV, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Chandler, Texas. The pilot, the sole occupant, was fatally injured. The flight operated under the provisions of Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 as a personal flight. Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast (ADS-B) data showed the airplane departed the Tyler Pounds Regional Airport (TYR), Tyler, Texas from runway 22 at 1423.
