Redbird Names Michael Clifford COO

Former CIO At Whole Foods To Join Redbird Management Team

Redbird Flight Simulations of Austin, Texas announced today a key addition to its executive leadership team with the hiring of Michael Clifford as Chief Operating Officer.

“Mike’s deep management experience in computer technology, logistics, and consumer products from his time as a technology executive with both PepsiCo and Dell Computers and CIO at Whole Foods is a great addition to Redbird’s executive team as the company continues to focus on expanding its global customer base and prepares for the launch of a long list of new products”, said Redbird CEO, Todd Willinger. “We are honored and very excited to have Mike as a member of our strongest management team in the company’s 9-year history.”

Mr. Clifford is probably best known for his 12 years at the technology helm of Whole Foods Market, the $11B supermarket giant specializing in organic foods. Prior to that, he served as Divisional VP and CIO for the Dell’s U.S. public sector businesses, as well as their Central and South American business units. He joined Dell after a long tenure as IT Director for Pepsi Cola’s Sales and Marketing systems, working directly with retail customers for Pepsi's bottling operations.
