Goodrich to Stop Pakistani 777s

Pakistan International Picks Goodrich Wheels and Brakes

Pakistan International Airlines has selected Goodrich Corporation's wheels and brakes for their new fleet of 3 firm (and 5 optional) Boeing 777-200ER aircraft with deliveries scheduled to commence in January.

Keith Campbell, Goodrich's Director, Airline Sales, said, "Pakistan International Airlines has embarked on a Boeing fleet modernization program with the acquisition of these new aircraft, and we are proud to be a part of this airline's future growth."

Pakistan International Airlines was founded in 1951. It began providing domestic and regional service in 1954 and international service in 1955. The carrier has grown through the years and today maintains a modern and expanding fleet which serves their extensive routes worldwide.

The airline currently serves 87 destinations including Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
