Pan Am Academy Announces ATP-CTP With Type Rating Summer Tuition Credits

May Be Applied To Training IN B737NG, A320 In Miami And Las Vegas

Pan Am International Flight Academy and parent company ANA Holdings, (collectively "Pan Am") have announced a special discounted summer training program for ATP-CTP and Type Rating Training on the B737NG and A320 at their Miami and Las Vegas Training Centers.

Under this agreement, students who participate in training between June 1 and August 31 qualify to receive a tuition credit against fees for fully structured courses including classroom, home study, and motion simulator training.

As one of only a handful FAA certified ATP-CTP training and testing centers, Pan Am has the capability of not only delivering ATP-CTP training to pass the required exams, but offers Type Rating training, both in tandem with the ATP—or independently as well on the two most popular Boeing and Airbus fleet types: the B737NG and A320.

Tuition for the ATP-CTP stand-alone course, held in Las Vegas is reduced during this period to $4495. Tuition for the bundled ATP with reduced Type Rating training (previous experience) earns a credit of $1000; whereas coursework for the combined ATP and Home Study full Type Rating training at either Miami or Las Vegas receives a $1500 credit.

"Type Ratings are our core business and it's nice to extend this kind of value," said Mark Johnson, Pan Am's Senior Operations Officer. "Pilots who've been waiting for the right time to get their ATP-CTP training and get that 'certain type rating' will see this as an excellent opportunity.

"Course start times are pre-scheduled which is a huge benefit for students without a training partner because we match them up with someone. They don't have to hassle trying to match their schedule with someone else's.  No other academy can offer this because we own our own simulators and control schedules. This is a huge benefit for students," Johnson said.  Training is set to begin June 1 at both campuses.

As the original training division of former Pan American World Airways, the company is one of the largest and most experienced training organizations in the world, with 200 training courses for pilots, flight engineers, air traffic controllers, dispatchers, and flight attendants.
