KADEX Aero Supply Announced As Distributor For True Blue Power

Will Carry Line Of Advanced Lithium-Ion Batteries

KADEX Aero Supply (KADEX) is pleased to announce they have secured distribution for True Blue Power (True Blue) Wichita, Kansas Advanced Lithium-ion Batteries.

True Blue Advanced Lithium-ion Batteries utilize Nanophosphate lithium-ion cell chemistry to provide unmatched power, safety, energy and life. Weighing less and with reduced maintenance cost compared to lead-acid and nickel cadmium alternatives, the True Blue Power Advanced Lithium-ion Batteries deliver weight savings and an overall lower cost of ownership. Multiple layers of protection are employed at the chemistry, cell and system level to achieve an energy storage solution with superior safety and abuse tolerance compared to metal oxide lithium-ion chemistries.

John Lavery, President of KADEX said “We pride ourselves on offering lower cost of ownership options and these batteries do exactly that. With a 6-10 year life span, 45% lighter than the lead-acid and nickel-cadmium alternative and 2 year service interval there will clearly be reduced operating costs.”

STC approved and ranging in 5 different sizes (TB17, TB35, TB40, TB44, TB46) for fixed wing, rotorcraft application – True Blue Power intend on offering lightweight battery solutions for all piston and turboprop aircraft.
