EM Aviation Introduces The 'RiteAngle Integrity' AOA

Now In Production For FAA Part 23 Certified Aircraft

EM Aviation has introduced an AOA indicator that automatically and accurately corrects for corrects for up to five flap positions.

The RiteAngle Integrity AOA uses vane similar to military aircraft and airliners and interfaces with a logic module through a three-wire connection. The display arrow indicates where to put nose of your aircraft for a safe angle of attack.

EM Aviation says that the system has been proven in hundreds of Experimental (EAB) aircraft, and is accurate within one degree in set flap positions. The electronics have been reviewed and modified to meet specific requirements for FAA / ASTM compliance by an engineering firm.

Operating on either 14 or 28 volt Vdc systems the vane actually measures AOA, logic module converts to LED indications, nothing is computed. The stand-alone display can be mounted on the glare shield allowing for line-of-sight viewing or panel mounted in a 2.25 inch instrument housing. The design follows FAR 23 standards for recommended colors, Green= SAFE; Amber = Caution; RED= DANGER

The company says that the system does not require small holes to be plugged by bugs or wax.

All fabrication of the instrument is completed in Vancouver, Washington and the surrounding area.

The retail price for the RiteAngle Integrity AOA is $1699.
