Bell Helicopter’s McTurbine Affiliate Expands Capabilities

Receives Certification From Honeywell For T53 Series Engines

Bell Helicopter affiliate McTurbine, Inc. (McTurbine), has received certification from Honeywell International for an approved correlated test cell for the Honeywell T53 series engine.

“We continue to make enhancements to our business in order to meet customers’ growing needs,” said Chad Nimrick, general manager of Customer Support and Services, U.S. Sites. “This added capability to our McTurbine site is another testament to our ability to provide flexible options to operators to serve their aircraft.”

In 2015, McTurbine received authorization from Honeywell to serve as a Licensed Repair Facility for the Honeywell T53 series engine. Under this agreement, McTurbine is providing customers with engine and component maintenance, repair and overhaul services, engine and accessory exchange services, and field support.

“At Bell Helicopter, we have been globally recognized for our comprehensive services and support for more than two decades,” added Nimrick. “We will continue to raise the bar to provide world-class customer solutions.”

McTurbine has more than 25 years of experience in the overhaul and repair of turbine engines with a long and successful history of providing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorized support. It has serviced over 1,400 engines across an existing customer base of more than 300 operators including Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador and Guyana.
