FROM 14 CFR PART 139 AIRPORTS. 2. MEDICAL EVACUATION, LAW
ENFORCEMENT, AND OTHER EMERGENCY OPERATIONS RELATED FLIGHTS IN
DIRECT SUPPORT OF FEMA HURRICANE RELIEF EFFORTS, DOD AIRCRAFT IN
SUPPORT OF JOINT TASK FORCE KATRINA. (I) FOR FLIGHT SAFETY, ALL

ENTERING OR EXITING THE 30 NM RADIUS TFR MUST BE ON AN ACTIVE IFR
OR VFR FLIGHT PLAN WITH A DISCRETE CODE ASSIGNED BY AN AIR TRAFFIC
CONTROL (ATC) FACILITY EXCEPT FOR THOSE AIRCRAFT OPERATING IN
ACCORDANCE WITH A2 ABOVE. AIRCRAFT MUST BE SQUAWKING END PART 2 OF

TWO-WAY RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WITH ATC. 3. ALL AIRCRAFT OPERATING
WITHIN THE 10 TO 30 NM RADIUS TFR AND OPERATING AT ALTITUDES UP TO
BUT NOT INCLUDING FL180 ARE LIMITED TO AIRCRAFT ARRIVING OR
DEPARTING LOCAL AIRFIELDS EXCEPT FOR THOSE AIRCRAFT OPERATING IN
ACCORDANCE WITH A2 ABOVE. ATC MAY AUTHORIZE TRANSIT OPERATIONS AND
AIRCRAFT MAY NOT LOITER. 4. FLIGHT TRAINING, PRACTICE INSTRUMENT
APPROACHES, AEROBATIC FLIGHT, GLIDER OPERATIONS, PARACHUTE
OPERATIONS, ULTRA LIGHT, HANG GLIDING, BALLOON OPERATIONS,
AGRICULTURE/CROP DUSTING, INCLUDING ANY CIVIL AERIAL SPRAYING
RELATED TO RELIEF EFFORTS, ANIMAL POPULATION CONTROL FLIGHT
OPERATIONS, AND BANNER TOWING OPERATIONS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED. 5. THE
SYSTEM OPERATIONS SUPPORT CENTER (SOSC), TELEPHONE 202-267- 3333,
IS THE FAA COORDINATION FACILITY. C. FAA RECOMMENDS THAT ALL
