Bell Helicopter Continues Support Of AAAA Scholarship Foundation

Presents $5,000 Check To Army Aviation Association of America

Bell Helicopter presented a $5,000 check to the Army Aviation Association of America Scholarship Foundation last week.

Lisa Atherton, Bell Helicopter’s executive vice president of Military Business Development, presented the ceremonial check to retired Army Col. Stanford Oliver, Chairman of the Army Aviation Association of America’s scholarship fund committee earlier today at the 2016 Army Aviation Association of America’s Mission Solutions Summit at the Georgia World Congress Center.

“Bell Helicopter understands that a college education is incredibly important, though financially it can be challenging for many families in the military,” said Atherton. “We are proud to continue our support of the Army Aviation Association’s Scholarship Foundation, and it is our privilege to help the families of the men and women who have served in the U.S. Army achieve their educational goals by contributing to this inspirational and important effort.”

The Army Aviation Association Scholarship Foundation was created in 1963 to recognize and provide scholarship grants to the children of its members and deceased members who sought college-entry financial aid.

“Bell Helicopter continues to be a wonderful supporter of the Scholarship Foundation and the men and women who serve our nation,” said Oliver. “These types of donations make it possible for us to continue our mission helping the children of those who served attend college and succeed. We’re honored to receive this donation from Bell Helicopter and appreciate all that they do for us and our service members.”
