It May Be A Week Until EAA AirVenture Officially Opens Its Gates, But ANN Is Already Here
At ANN we have something we call our, Aero-Community, and it’s filled with incredible people and organizations that populate our Airborne Partnership Initiative. This initiative plays an important role in the creation of the video programming seen daily on our Airborne Unlimited webcast. We work with our Aero-Community to build a strong relationship with all facets of aviation and aerospace.
All of this comes together in its most profound way every year at EAA AirVenture and, at AirVenture 2016, our joining of common interests has already started. The vanguard of the ANN crew is now on property at Oshkosh setting up our press headquarters and all the production equipment necessary to bring you the most complete coverage of AirVenture that’s available.
One of the reasons we get here so early is to prepare for the production and presentation of our AirVenture Innovation Preview (AIP). Our first AIP was held at AirVenture 2015 and has since been moved into other venues. The program was a stunning success, and this year it will be even bigger and better.
We produce the AIP in partnership with EAA, and we work with numerous companies to present short video summaries of new and exciting things that will be seen at AirVenture. This video webcast starts on the evening of Saturday, July 23, and it provides you with a taste of all that’s new and exciting at AirVenture this year. As we continue through the week we’ll give you more information about this extraordinary program.
As this week progresses you’ll also learn more about our new and exciting daily airborne unlimited video webcasts which will come from the grounds here at AirVenture. We have 28 staffers to cover AirVenture this year, and we’ll cover it in a way that is both unique and complete.
We are also starting a new program that we have named “#OSH16Coolest” that allows everyone at AirVenture to become a partner with us as we search for things that are really cool at Oshkosh. More information about this new program will also be coming as we continue our early coverage of AirVenture.
Keep a sharp eye out for our next issue of “Aero-News At AirVenture Update” as we fill you in on AirVenture before the gates open.
