Corporate Jet Management (CJM) is based at the Business Aviation
Centre, Farnborough Airport, and is one of Europe’s leading
Business Aircraft Management specialists. The Company manages and
operates executive aircraft, both on behalf of owners and from its
own fleet. CJM’s years of experience makes the British
company able to provide high quality aviation solutions.
“With the appointment of CJM as the official dealer for the
P-180 Avanti II in Great Britain and Ireland Piaggio Aero will be
able to expand its sales business in these two important European
aviation markets,” commented Giuliano Felten, Piaggio Aero
Deputy GM and Chief Commercial Officer. “CJM are one of the
most competent and dynamic aviation businesses and today’s
agreement confirms the commitment of Piaggio Aero to further
strengthening its position within the traditional European Market,
while at the same time expanding its activities in new and emerging
markets around the world.”
David Stark a director of CJM said, "CJM is extremely proud to
be associated with Piaggio Aero. In today's ecologically sensitive
world the Piaggio Avanti II is set apart from its competitors with
its ability to achieve a high level of performance combined with
great comfort, unique style and low emission thanks to its
unrivalled fuel efficiency. Also, the P.180 flexibility permits the
aircraft to operate out of smaller peripheral airports with landing
and take-off distances that are simply unachievable in a comparably
sized jet. As a company we feel that the Italian brand of "Piaggio
Aero” is recognised worldwide and is synonymous with high
performance and exclusive style. We trust that the synergy between
the two companies will make the innovative P.180 Avanti II aircraft
a successful product in both in the UK and Ireland".
The Avanti II has a certified altitude of 41,000ft and a maximum
speed of 402 knots (at 31,000ft), but burns about 40 per cent less
fuel than a similar size jet. The full ‘stand-up’ cabin
is over six feet wide and five feet nine inches high which is
considerably wider and taller than most of the competing business
aircraft in this weight and price class.
