In the fourth part of his four part series, Glover demonstrates how to easily modify a flight plan in the Integrated Flight Display (IFD) panel. Developed to be fully-integrated with the all-digital WAAS Gamma 3 CNS suite, the FMS900w offers a manageable solution to creating and editing a flight plan with ease and efficiency.

Essential functions can be easily accessed through the bezel controls, minimizing heads down time for increased safety. The selection options are context sensitive providing an intuitive method when modifying existing flight plans.

For example, as Glover explains, the selection options available when modifying a hold are laid out exactly how a hold clearance would be given to a pilot for quick and effortless editing.
