Donations Sought For Display Of Greg Connell Airshows Tribute RC

Model To Be Retired, Displayed At Events Where Connell Was To Have Flown This Year

Greg Connell Airshow's has been contacted by members of the Triple Tree Aerodrome for help and support in the purchase of a 40% scale model of Greg Connell's Pitts Model 12.

The model was completed, and flew at the recent Joe Nall RC event at Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff South Carolina. Greg was very excited and honored about this model but had only seen it in pictures and video not in person. Due to the untimely loss of Greg, the builder Dale Wilkins has decided that the model will not be flown again and should be available for everyone to enjoy seeing this beautiful model.

The model will be displayed at upcoming airshows and events that Greg was to attend, then be placed in Greg's honor in the new Triple Tree learning center to ignite and expand the same love in aviation that Greg had in which he was passionate about sharing. 

This tribute will be displayed for all to visit.

Greg Connell Airshows fully supports and endorses this worthy effort in honor of Connell, and has established a GoFundMe page to solicit donations for the effort. Any contribution is welcome, according to the page.
