Aviation Capital Group Announces Lease Agreement With Interjet

Will Place 10 New Airbus A320 Family Aircraft With The Carrier

Aviation Capital Group  has signed long-term lease agreements with Interjet for 10 new Airbus A320 Family aircraft. These aircraft are from ACG’s order book commitment with Airbus. The first aircraft is expected to be delivered in July 2017.

“ACG is delighted to continue a long-standing and important relationship with Interjet, a premier low-cost airline in Mexico,” said Khanh T. Tran, CEO of ACG.

“We are very pleased to have signed this agreement with ACG, a leading company in the aircraft leasing industry. With this agreement, we will have the opportunity to continue our route expansion plan in order to offer our passengers more national and international destinations and frequencies,” said José Luis Garza, CEO of Interjet.

Over 12,800 A320 Family aircraft have already been ordered, including over 4,800 A320neo Family aircraft from 89 customers. The A320neo Family incorporates the latest engines and aerodynamic enhancements, delivering more than 15 percent fuel savings, and 20 percent by 2020.
