Netjets Expands Scottsdale Facility

As Network Grows, Netjets Builds Additional Maintenance, Staging Locations

NetJets has broken ground on a brand-new, exclusive-use facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The new location is expected to "significantly improve direct collaboration with supply chain partners" and greatly increase service efficiencies to the firm's fleet of jets. Netjets expects that the change will provide "seamless access" to aircraft, with additional ramp space easing congestion and fuel delays at the popular location. The improvement in on-time performance will be well appreciated by NetJets Owners, especially those availing themselves of the upcoming on-site private boarding lounge. The addition is expected to add more than 200 jobs to the local Scottsdale area, reinforcing its position in the greater Phoenix area as the place to be for private jet travel.

The new Scottsdale facility will be part of the larger worldwide network of more than 10 NetJets Maintenance Service Hubs, all placed in strategically important, high-traffic areas to address the needs of Netjets customers amid a growing business aviation market. The company's ongoing annual maintenance commitment has scaled with its fleet, currently $63 million in aircraft parts alone, supporting more than 850 Netjets aircraft.

“At NetJets, our priority is to provide Owners with safe, exceptional, and seamless experiences,” said Brad Ferrell, NetJets’ Executive Vice President, Administrative Services. “Our ongoing investment in expanding our real estate portfolio will continue to improve our industry-leading service, Owner experience, and maintenance abilities. We are excited to introduce our first from-the-ground-up NetJets Maintenance Service Hub site as a part of this larger investment in dedicated facilities across the globe.”
