State Of Florida Plans Presence At Paris Air Show

Delegation To Be Led By Governor Rick Scott

The state of Florida is sending a delegation of government officials and aerospace executives to the Paris Air Show in June. The delegation will be led by Florida Governor Rick Scott (R) (pictured).

Enterprise Florida is coordinating business participation in the Florida Pavilion at the 50th International Paris Air Show, which is scheduled for June 17-23.

Held at Paris’ Le Bourget Airport, the Paris Air Show is considered to be among the world’s leading aviation and aerospace trade fairs. Last held in 2011, this biannual event attracted more than 350,000 attendees, including 151,500 trade visitors, and 290 official delegations from 82 countries.

“The Paris Air Show offers unprecedented access to the world’s leading aviation and aerospace companies,” said Manny Mencía, senior vice president of International Trade and Development for Enterprise Florida in a statement on the agency's website. “Historically, this event has been very fruitful for Florida companies, and we anticipate another successful year.”

Enterprise Florida will host the Florida Pavilion at the tradeshow, and has secured what it says is a "premier" location in the exhibit area.  The pavilion offers an ideal opportunity for Florida companies to exhibit their products and services to a global audience, and to create immediate new and lucrative partnerships.
