Silver Airways Resumes Service To Freeport And Marsh Harbour, Bahamas

Service To Treasure Cay Expected To Resume In February

Silver Airways, a long-standing partner and necessary air service link to the Bahamas, resumes service to Freeport, Grand Bahamas and Marsh Harbour in the Abacos starting December 19, 2019.

Silver Airways is now offering daily flights between Fort Lauderdale and Freeport every day except Tuesdays with two flights per day on Saturdays. In addition, Silver offers daily flights between Fort Lauderdale and Marsh Harbour every day except Mondays and Tuesdays.

“We are thrilled to resume the necessary and much-needed service to two more islands in the Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian,” said Silver Airways Senior Vice President of Commercial and Finance Pedro Motta. “The best way we can continue supporting our fellow neighbors in the Bahamas is to travel to their many fine islands and patronize their hotels and resorts, restaurants and attractions.”

Silver Airways, synonymous with the Bahamas, offers more routes in the Bahamas than any other airline, including service to Freeport (FPO) on Grand Bahama Island; Marsh Harbour (MHH) in the Abacos; Nassau (NAS), the capital of the Bahamas on New Providence Island; George Town (GGT) in Exuma; Governor’s Harbour (GHB) in Eleuthera; Bimini (BIM); and North Eleuthera (ELH).

In addition, Silver is looking forward to resuming service to Treasure Cay in the Abacos in February 2020, pending the airport’s re-opening.
