Daher announced a new international internship program with the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) in order to "engage and motivate promising future leaders of the GA sector".
The trans-Atlantic internship will provide 2 students with a chance to attain hands-on industry experience, with a plethora of networking opportunities. Students will spend 8 weeks at job assignments within their area of interest at the headquarters and production facility of Daher's Aircraft Division in Tarbes, France. After its completion, interns will spend a week with Daher at the EAA AirVenture fly-in and air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. While the position is unpaid, travel expenses and living allowances are covered.
“This opportunity is a one-of-a-kind experience for the next generation of aviation industry decision-makers, who will work side-by-side with our team in France to gain expertise in their selected fields,” said Nicolas Chabbert, the Senior Vice President of Daher’s Aircraft Division.
“We are excited to partner with Daher, which builds two separate type certified turboprop aircraft in the U.S. and France, to offer this exciting opportunity for North American students to learn about the general aviation industry in France. These internships provide students with an invaluable international experience that will further their knowledge of the incredible professional global opportunities in our robust industry,” said Pete Bunce, GAMA President and CEO.
Interested candidates may apply via the GAMA-Daher internship experience at the link below, with final selections to be announced on March 28 at the Sun n' Fun Aerospace Expo.
