Sonex Announces Kit Price Increase

Hike Will Take Effect August 11th

As cost pressures continue to increase in the worldwide market, Sonex Aircraft will be implementing several kit price increases effective Monday, August 11th.

Complete airframe kits, kit minus tail packages, and quick build kits will increase in price by $1,000. Sub-kits will increase in price by approximately 7 percent each. The AeroVee engine kit price will increase by $500.

The company says that even with these increases, Sonex Aircraft continues to offer "the best performance per dollar with our kit pricing and over-all completion costs." Potential buyers can calculate a building budget using the Sonex Aircraft Total Cost Worksheet.

Sonex says that as a courtesy to all current and prospective Sonex Aircraft customers, "we are announcing this new pricing now, and honoring current pricing for all orders received with 1/3rd deposit payment by August 8, 2014. If you've been considering a Sonex Aircraft or AeroVee engine kit purchase in the near future, order before August 8th to avoid the price increase. there's never been a better time to buy."
