Offers A Career Pathway To Delta Airlines
The pathway to Delta just got easier with improvements to a program that will give Endeavor pilots an even stronger advantage over other candidates for pilot jobs with Delta Airlines.
Endeavor said in a news release that since 2014, it has sent more than 900 pilots to Delta, and they continue to commit to sending at least 180 pilots to Delta each year through the pilot pathway program.
Endeavor is also investing tools and resources to help prepare our pilots for a successful Delta interview, including advanced leadership training, automated log book application, an interview preparation class, and a dedicated progression support manager to support pilots with the DGI process.
“Securing a Delta pilot position is a desirable career opportunity for many pilots throughout the world; the Endeavor DGI career path is the most advantageous way to reach that objective,” said Russ Elander, VP, Operations at Endeavor Air. “With our enhanced DGI Program, Endeavor pilots are rewarded for their record of reliability, safety, and performance with an advantage over all other candidates.”
The program modifications include:
- No Job Knowledge Testing – JKT testing is no longer required for Endeavor DGI pilot candidates, eliminating much of the “homework” for pilot candidates preparing for their Delta interview.
- Preferential Scoring Credit – In recognition of the unique and valuable contribution Endeavor pilots make to the Delta brand, Delta applies a preferential scoring credit for our pilots during the panel interview, giving them advantages above other candidates.
- DGI Repeat Opportunity – Our DGI pilot candidates who successfully complete portions of the Delta selection process in his/her first attempt, but who does receive a CJO, will only be required to submit and successfully pass the portions of the Delta selection process that were failed as part of his or her repeat opportunity.
