It’s reported that the airplane encountered engine problems, and the pilot declared an emergency. The plane landed at the airport south of Cape Canaveral. As we approach the holiday shipping madness, we find out that United Parcel Service pilots voted 2,252 to 8 to authorize a strike against United Parcel Service. The five-pilot International Pilot Association Executive Board now has the authority to formally request a release from federally mediated negotiations with UPS, and the discretion to conduct a strike once mediation is concluded.
