Second Annual Human Spaceflight Technical Forum Planned For Mid January

NASA, FAA, Industry Representatives Expected To Participate

A second Human Spaceflight Technical Forum is being planned by aerospace engineering company Special Aerospace Services to focus on the value of human spaceflight to the nation and its strategy going forward.

The Forum is being held in Boulder, Colorado, January 18-20, and will build on last year's focused and concentrated agenda created for the industry's Human Spaceflight providers, NASA and the FAA. Attendees will be a part of a national strategy and value discussion regarding the 2012 U.S. human spaceflight and exploration program.

"We are in an exciting phase in human spaceflight," said Heather Bulk, CEO of Special Aerospace Services. "The 2012 Forum will not only build on the comprehensive training program we presented in 2011, but will also provide new insights and updates for this rapidly evolving industry."

"The Forum is where the most experienced leaders in spaceflight will develop the 21st century construct for human space flight strategy and elucidate the value to the nation of that enterprise," said N. Wayne Hale Jr., Special Aerospace Services Director of Human Spaceflight.
