Dr. David Juwel To Address Worrisome State Of Aviation Industry Marketing Expertise on Thursday, 1/16, 1045 ET, Area 3
Among the many features the crew of the Aero-News Network, SportPlane Resource Guide and Aero-TV are bringing to this year's Sebring FL, Sport Aviation Expo, is a much needed presentation on aviation marketing.
Dr. David Juwel, a regular contributor to ANN and a long-time advocate for greater expertise in sales and marketing for sport aviation companies, will be presenting a forum on Thursday, January 16th, 2014 in Forum Area 3, at 1045 ET.
Dave notes that, "Perhaps the one thing that many business owners don't know is, 'What does the potential customer really want from me?' A brochure maybe? To be left alone to browse (I'm just looking, thank you)? A neat little company trinket? To maintain their anonymity? Just a few moments out of the sun? Most businesses successfully provide all of that. But does it lead to completed sales? Like a rooting squirrel, occasionally you'll have success, but does your advertising to net income ratio define success in that manner? Learn tips and techniques that will assist you by attending the ANN sponsored forum on aviation business marketing."
Dave has been a conspicuous advocate for greater marketing education for over a decade, starting, primarily with a decade-old series of articles entitled "ITBOA BNITBOB" (In The Business Of Aviation, But Not In The Business Of Business) – a series that remains one of our most requested and remarked-upon, to date.
In addition to Dave’s Thursday presentation, ANN will present a Friday Forum (again in Area 3, at 1045 ET), by LSA Expert Earl Downs that will address the realities of what is and is not an LSA in today’s world. On Saturday, the entire ANN staff will be available for a SportPlane Q&A in Area 3, again at 1045, where they will be available to answer questions or comment on any SportPlane topic presented by attendees.
As previously announced ANN will also be preparing a basic introductory guide to the SportPlane industry, a SportPlane Resource Mini-Guide, that will be available in E-Book format, FREE, following our review of the offerings at this year’s event. Persons interested in receiving a FREE copy of the Mini-Guide may request an EPUB, Kindle or Adobe Acrobat version by emailing sprg-mini@aero-news.net.
