First Webcast Of IMC Report From IMC TV Planned For Friday,
March 25th
Aviation safety organization, IMC Club International has
released a new mobile application compatible with both Android and
iPhone platforms. The app is designed to disseminate aviation
related news to the pilot community. The newly released application
delivers the IMC iNews, podcasts, and IMCTV Video and other
aviation related content to a pilot's Android wireless device in a
format that is easy to read and browse. The application is
free and it is downloadable from IMCClubs.com/mobile as well as the
Android Market.
The new application also allows pilots to comment and interact
on their social networks, Facebook and Twitter. Pilots can comment
on a variety of selected topics of interest to instrument related
pilots as well as the news feed directly from the Society of
Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE), General Aviation News and
other. A version for iPad is under development and is planned
to be released soon.
IMC Club also plans on releasing its first webcast of IMC Report
from IMC TV studios in Norwood, Massachusetts on Friday March
25th. The webcast will include aviation istructional content
and opinions from IMC Club presenters. The webcast will be
available on the organization's website, as well as on iPhone and
Android applications.
The IMC Club is a membership based Non-Profit 501(c)(3)
organization focused on instrument rated pilots and flight
instructors, with a network of chapters throughout the
nation. IMC Clubs goal is to create a community of pilots
that share information, provide recognition, foster communications,
promote safety and build proficiency in instrument flying.
