Flight Schools, Colleges Now Have Free Method to Bootstrap Part 141 Curriculum
Part 61 Flight Schools looking to ramp up their student output while maintaining a consistent level of education have often found themselves behind the power curve, lacking a turnkey Part 141 curriculum.
King Schools has announced a concierge service, that allows flight schools and universities to skip over the troublesome issues that would come from developing a program of their own from scratch. The King program offers free Training Course Outlines that can be easily approved by an FAA Principal Operations Inspector, followed by more intensive assistance once the first steps are put into action.
“If your school is looking to gain or expand part 141 approval, we can help with free personalized assistance provided by one of our training experts," said senior VP of sales, Brian Hough. "Our courses and syllabi have been reviewed by the FAA and meet the requirements of part 141. An FAA letter coupled with our expertise can have you up and running in little time. King Schools is in a unique position to offer this help. Over half our 50 employees are pilots, and we have years of experience developing Part 141 syllabi that have been approved at hundreds of flight schools. Our syllabi and tracking software ensure schools can also easily provide the operational reports needed for their POI, allowing schools to focus on teaching while leaving a lot of administrative work to us.”
“The new concierge service aims to help schools quickly take advantage of our complete ‘zero to hero’ Part 141 approvable solution that includes training programs from Private through Flight Instructor," said King Schools co-owner and CEO Barry Knuttila. "Brian Hough has tremendous passion and long experience running flight schools and university programs while developing new FAA approved curricula. His team will provide an invaluable service to flight schools that want to expand their business by offering new profitable training solutions.”
Hough did say that the service is in its early stages, and things would evolve as it is put into action across the country. “The free Concierge Service is just the first phase—version 1.0 of our program. It is available to all our business partners. If you have questions on courses, implementation, TCOs, government agencies, simulator use, proficiency based training, college degrees, syllabi, accreditation or just looking to start or expand your aeronautical program, King is here."
