FAA Honors Dimitri Partafyllas

Named 2019 South Carolina Flight Instructor Of The Year

Stratos Aviation Flight Instructor, Dimitri Partafyllas, a Greenville, SC area resident, has been recognized as the 2019 Flight Instructor of the Year for the South Carolina District of the FAA. The award is a way of acknowledging outstanding accomplishment and leadership excellence in the pursuit of aviation safety.

“Dimitri’s exemplary flight instructor record is indicative of his professionalism and steadfast commitment to flight instruction and aviation safety”, stated James “Lanny” Cline, Aviation Safety FAASTeam Program Manager.

Since 2014, Stratos Aviation has conducted flight instruction out of the Greenville Downtown Airport in South Carolina.  For the last three years in a row, Stratos has been recognized as a Distinguished Flight School by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the world’s largest aviation association.  AOPA has also recognized Stratos Aviation Instructor and Founder Dimitri Partafyllas as a Distinguished Flight Instructor.
